Atmavedi Meditation

Atmavedi Meditation consists of Dharana and Dhyana on a special transcending mantra that is selected for you by Lord Narayana. This may seem complicated due to the use of the Sanskrit terminology, but it is quite simple in practice and easy to learn by anyone who can think a thought. The mantra is a vehicle of transcending that the mind follows to the deepest levels of consciousness in an effortless process.

The basic instruction for Dharana in the process of meditation is very simple: think the mantra as effortlessly as any other thought and if other thoughts come, do not mind them and just come back to the mantra; and take it as it comes. We understand that the mantra is a vehicle of transcending, but exactly what does that mean? What is transcending?

Transcending is easy to experience but requires many words to describe! To transcend means to go beyond. But beyond what? Beyond the physical mind to the subtler minds. Look at this image that depicts the 5 koshas or bodies that we all have:

Five Koshas

Each kosha has its own mind and the Anandamaya Kosha is the mind of the universe. Our objective is to transcend from tiny individual physical-based mind to the vast, unbounded mind of the universe. When we can maintain our awareness on the level of the subtle mind and witness the conscious thinking mind from this level, we have achieved Dhyana in meditation. If we can maintain this witnessing of the physical realm from the level of the subtle mind on a permanent basis, 24 hours a day, we have accomplished the goal of human existence, or Moksha.

Dharana

First, it is important when thinking the mantra that we do not try to pronounce it clearly in the mind. We should just have a faint idea of the mantra in the mind. Feeling the vibration of the mantra is the same as having the mantra in the mind as a faint idea. For example, you can speak the mantra out loud and that uses the mind to think, the vocal cords in the throat to make sound and the lips and mouth and air passing through is also employed. Then you can whisper the mantra, not using the vocal cords at all, just the mind, air, lips and mouth are employed. Subtler is to think the mantra in the mind alone, using only the mind. But notice you can think the mantra clearly and that is more gross than thinking the mantra as a faint idea in the mind. When you think the mantra as just a faint idea and do not try to pronounce it clearly in the mind; just the idea of the mantra, that is feeling the vibration of the mantra. Also, to speak the mantra out loud requires effort to make that sound, even a whisper requires some effort of the body. Pronouncing the mantra clearly in the mind requires effort as well, effort in the mind. But to feel the mantra as a faint idea is effortless.

That is our objective when practicing Dharana, effortless thinking of the mantra. When we reach this level of thinking we are at the boundary of the anamaya kosha, just about to transcend to pranamaya kosha. Then we be even more gentle in our thinking of the mantra and it becomes just a faint idea in the physical mind and the attention slips into the prana mind, using the mantra as a vehicle or focal point. We feel the transition to a state of relative unbounded awareness. Our awareness is no longer bound by the physical mind and physical experience. We are experiencing a new realm of existence through our prana mind and this is not a physical realm. It is pure energy of the prana field.

Then once in the prana mind the process of transcending continues and we realize that we can think the mantra in the prana mind ever so much more effortlessly as an even fainter idea and we reach the boundary of the pranamaya kosha and by becoming even more effortless in our thinking we again transcend beyond the prana mind to the manomaya kosha. Again, we experience a huge expansion of awareness, and our body seems to be limitless and this transcendence is far greater than what we experienced in pranamaya kosha.

Yet we sense that we can think the mantra ever so much more faintly, and we allow the manomaya kosha mind to think the mantra as an even fainter idea that ever before and we come to the boundary of the manomaya kosha. Relaxing the focus of the mind even more, allow the manomaya kosha mind to think the mantra as an even fainter idea, and we transcend again and find ourselves in the vast, seemingly limitless expanse of the vijñanamaya kosha.

We may even think this is the ultimate expansion of awareness, we have arrived at the Goal, there can be no further expansion of awareness possible, but we do not stop there and allow the mantra to refine even more, to become even more subtle in the vijñanamaya kosha mind as a even more faint idea until we reach the boundary if the vijñanamaya kosha. Then we transcend again and the expansion is so vast it cannot be compared at all to the previous states.

We have arrived at the Goal, at Anandamaya Kosha. The mantra cannot be refined further, we are the entire universe, there is no limit to our awareness at all, truly unbounded awareness. Aham Brahmasmi

The practical experience is we may reach any one of these levels then be interrupted by a thought passing through the mind. If there is a sense of interruption caused by that thought, it will break the flow and slow down the progress. So, we allow thoughts to come up, as if in the background of the mind. In the foreground, we are thinking the mantra but in the background, there can be a thought or even a sensory experience of some sound in the room or some light flickering in the closed eyes through the eyelids or some feeling of the body, or a slight smell. All of these thoughts and sensory experiences are relegated to the back of the mind and just ignored, we pay no attention to these things. Our full attention is on the mantra.

In practical experience, it may seem that 90% of our attention is on the mantra and perhaps 10% is on the background processes. As we continue practice, this ratio may change from 90:10 to 95:5 then 98:2 and ultimately 100% absorption in the mantra. We are not trying to do anything at this stage, we are simply pointing our mind in the direction of 100% absorption in the mantra to the exclusion of all other sensory inputs. This is Dharana, perfected.

Dhyana

Dhyana is the next level of meditation that is more advanced than Dharana. It is Dhyana that results in the experience: “I am more than the physical body and conscious thinking mind. I am spacious, timeless, unbounded, witnessing awareness that is beyond the physical realm.” With Dharana we focus the mind on the sound of the mantra and with Dhyana we watch our self from a higher perspective as we perform Dharana with the mind.

We do not have to perfect Dharana before we can practice Dhyana. In fact, we want to practice Dhyana simultaneously with Dharana and perfect Dhyana as we perfect Dharana. To achieve Dhyana we begin every meditation with a simple practice – feel the silence that is deep in the mind, identify with that silence and know that is who you really are. You are not the physical body and you are not the conscious thinking mind. You are something beyond, something transcendental to the physical mind and body. The silence that lies deep within and is found between every thought as the background of the awareness is your connection to your True Self. Dhyana is witnessing the conscious thinking mind from the True Self.

Witnessing the conscious thinking mind from the timeless, spacious silence of the True Self is extraordinary and blissful. This is the feeling of freedom, liberation from all boundaries and is a glimpse of Moksha. This is Dhyana and it becomes more and more established with every meditation until this witnessing quality continues even outside of meditation as we engage in daily activities and even as the body sleeps at night. Gradually, Moksha overtakes the whole of life.

Practical Experience

The practical experience is we may reach any one of these levels then be interrupted by a thought passing through the mind. If there is a sense of interruption caused by that thought, it will break the flow and slow down the progress. So we allow thoughts to come up, as if in the background of the mind. In the foreground we are thinking the mantra but in the background there can be a thought or even a sensory experience of some sound in the room or some light flickering in the closed eyes through the eyelids or some feeling of the body, or a slight smell. All of these thoughts and sensory experiences are relegated to the back of the mind and just ignored, we pay no attention to these things. Our full attention is on the mantra.

In practical experience it may seem that 90% of our attention is on the mantra and perhaps 10% is on the background processes. As we continue practice, this ratio may change from 90:10 to 95:5 then 98:2 and ultimately 100% absorption in the mantra. We are not trying to do anything at this stage, we are simply pointing our mind in the direction of 100% absorption in the mantra to the exclusion of all other sensory inputs.

doshasWe can practice meditation at any time and in any place, but some times and places are more conducive to transcending than others. The period of Brahmamuhurtha (starting at 96 minutes before sunrise) is an excellent time to meditate because the mind is inherently still at that time of day. Another great time to meditate is 96 minutes before sunset. These periods are good for meditation due to the natural cycles of the body that relate to the three doshas: vata, pitta, and kapha. The kapha period starts at sunrise and extends for 5 murhurtas (a period of 48 minutes) or 4 hours. The vata period starts 5 murhurtas before sunset and the pitta period is the time between kapha and vata in the middle of the day. At night the kapha period begins at sunset and extends for 5 murhurtas and the vata period begins 5 murhurtas before sunrise, with the pitta period in the time between kapha and vata. For modern life simplicity, these periods are set by the clock instead of sunrise and sunset: From sunrise until 10:00am is the time of Kapha; from 10:00am until 2:00pm is Pitta time; and from 2:00pm until sunset (6:00pm) is the time of Vata. The evening follows a similar pattern, from 6:00pm until 10:00pm is the time of Kapha, from 10:00pm until 2:00am is the time of Pitta, and from 2:00am until 6:00am is Vata time.

Meditation in a Group

Group MeditationMeditation is deeper and more profound if done in a group of 2 or more individuals. Anyone who meditates will attest to this experience. Why is that? There are a number of reasons (from Yoga International):

  1. Everything is better when shared—including meditation.
Just like music, meditation can be enjoyed on its own or with others who dance to the same beat. You can feel a real connection with others by tapping into the same silence and source of peace at the same time. In fact, we can literally meet people on the same wavelength: recorded EEG results show that brainwaves synchronize while meditating.
  2. Meditating with a group helps to develop a habit.
It's easy to find excuses not to meditate at home. Just like meeting friends at the gym for group fitness class can motivate you to work out, finding a meditation group can provide the necessary encouragement for developing a consistent practice.
  3. Feedback is available.
Meditation groups often include practitioners of varying levels. If you're new to meditation, you might find that other members of your group can help clear up any confusion you may have over different types of meditation, help you find answers addressing difficulties with practice, and provide feedback regarding experiences that arise during the meditation process.
  4. Joining a group is actually physically good for us.
According to the book “Bowling Alone: The Collapse and Revival of American Community" by Robert D. Putnam, joining a group can cut your risk of dying in the next year in half! Loneliness is now proven to be bad for our health. An environment of acceptance and belonging are perfect conditions under which social animals like us can thrive
  5. Be a part of the bigger picture.
A group can better support an individual’s inward journey. It's inspiring and motivating to connect with others who share our intentions for world peace. It is easier to apply Gandhi’s suggestion to “be the change you wish to see in the world” when you are part of a collective crowd. According to Andrew Kelley at The Boston Buddha, it is also a good way to “collectively unify and add strength to our intentions” with a common group goal even if the goal is just to be more relaxed and less reactive.
  6. There is power in numbers.
Believe it or not, there are studies that prove the existence of a ripple effect of peace in the surrounding environment when a group meditates together. According to the unified field superstring theory in physics, waves of vibration flow from everything in the universe affecting the collective consciousness. Groups have the power to enliven that field. Cellular biologist Bruce Lipton states in his book “Biology of Belief” that our consciousness can change the physical world around us by altering the field. An interesting experiment tested a theory called “The Maharishi Effect” in Merseyside, England. A number that exceeded one percent of the population meditated together every day from 1988 to 1991, and the crime rate dropped so much that Merseyside went from third highest to the lowest-ranked city in England during the time of the analysis. Meanwhile, the control town of non-meditators held a steady crime rate. Meditation was the only factor in the study that could account for the change, as the scientists calculated that police practices, local economics, and demographics remained the same throughout the study.
    Maharishi Effect

Vishnu

Devas Are the Underlying Mechanism

But what is the underlying mechanism that makes group meditations more powerful than a single individual meditating on her or his own? Devas. What are devas? They are sparks of creative intelligence that do everything to maintain the universe, from the tiny cells in our body (each cell has a deva in charge of it, giving it life) to the Maha Deva, Lord Vishnu, who is responsible for the maintanence of the entire universe. How are devas created? Mantra. The entire universe is created by Lord Brahma by performing samyama on the 432,000 mantras of the Rig Veda. This meditation creates the vibrations that form the 3-D holographic projection of our universe. Innumerable devas are created in this process that actually make the universe come alive.

We create many devas everytime we meditate. These are the devas that help us to transcend and experience our subtle bodies. These devas stay with us and accumulate as we continue the practice of meditation, day after day. More and more ability to experience subtler levels of mind is gained with each meditation.

Devas created by meditation form a cloud of sattwa around the meditator and this results in synchronicity. Paul Levy defines synchronicity: "Synchronicities are those moments of “meaningful coincidence” when the boundary dissolves between the inner and the outer. At the synchronistic moment, just like a dream, our internal, subjective state appears, as if materialized in, as and through the outside world. Touching the heart of our being, synchronicities are moments in time in which there is a fissure in the fabric of what we have taken for reality and there is a bleed through from a higher dimension outside of time. Synchronicities are expressions of the dreamlike nature of reality, as they are moments in time when the timeless, dreamlike nature of the universe shines forth its radiance and openly reveals itself to us, offering us an open doorway to lucidity."

We know that our universe is maya, which means illusion or magic. It is a 3-D holographic projection of the Absolute Universe, or Goloka. As long as our subtle bodies are not developed, we are confined to observations of the universe strictly in the physical realm. But there is much more to experience in this universe and beyond. Transcending is the key to unlock these experiences and allow us to live a fully awaken life.

Synchronicity becomes common place when meditate because the accumulation of devas bridges the gap between the physical realm and the subtle realms. We only notice synchronicity when we live in the present moment. Meditation is successful only when we live in the present moment. The technique of thinking the mantra as a faint idea and ignoring all other thoughts in the mind keeps our focus in the present moment. We bring this habit gained during meditation into daily life and find we are more and more living in the present moment.

for Neurogeneisis and Cultivating Higher States of Consciousness

Visvamitra Explains Neurogenesis Vitara

Why does the brain lose its ability to function at optimal levels as we age? Many scientists believe we have a dwindling number of brain cells (neurons) as we age and this contributes to cognitive decline which is common as people grow older. We may begin to notice that we cannot remember well short-term, and there is a sort of "brain fog" that dulls thinking. It is increasingly difficult to learn new things and IQ has declined. Sleep may be more difficult, and we may be sleeping less and feeling fatigued during the day. If you have any of these symptoms, you probably have a fewer brain cells now than you need for sharp, clear thinking and optimal brain function.

Brain Cell Synapse

Above is a graphic that illustrates brain cells or neurons and synapses. Neurons are cells that send and receive electro-chemical signals to and from the brain and nervous system. By the time we reach middle age, we have only about 86 billion brain cells left. But, at birth, scientists estimate that we have about 100 billion neurons in the brain. The neurons in the brain are unlike other cells in the body. Other cells divide to maintain the organ system. The neurons in our brains do not divide, they simply die after some years. Some scientists estimate that we could lose about 85,000 neurons per day. This loss of brain cells may be the fundamental cause of cognitive decline in older adults.

Neurogenesis Is Vital For Maintaining A Healthy Brain

So, it is important that the brain create new neurons to maintain the ability of the brain, or else we lose cognitive ability as we age. In our youth, learning is easy and the mind is nimble and remembers with no effort. As we get older and the number of neurons decline, short-term memory becomes less dependable, it is harder to learn something new, the mind seems foggy and long-term memories are full of gaps.

Neuron

Is it possible to grow new brain cells and regenerate our brains to that youthful state and beyond? Yes! Neurogenesis is the scientific name for our ability to create new brain cells. A University of Massachusetts study, Mindfulness Practice Leads To Increases In Regional Brain Gray Matter Density, revealed that meditators may be benefiting from an actual growth of new brain cells. The researchers report that those who meditated for about 30 minutes a day for eight weeks had measurable changes in gray-matter density in parts of the brain associated with memory, sense of self, empathy and reduced stress.

Meditation practices, such as Mindfulness Meditation or Transcendental Meditation or Atmavedi Meditation are ways of exercising the brain, and exercising the brain in this way is thought to be a catalyst for neurogenesis - the production of new brain cells.

Neuron Detail

What is it about meditation that causes neurogenesis? When we meditate, overall brain frequency slows down from fast Beta (12 to 38 cycles per second) where the conscious thinking mind is engaged in random thoughts, to Theta (3 to 8 CPS) where the mind enjoys peace and calm and lack of thoughts. Topographic brain mapping shows us that at first during meditation only a small part of the brain will be in the Theta frequency band while the rest of the brain is exhibiting Alpha and Beta. During this time we may experience many random thoughts along with the thinking of the mantra. Then as our meditation continues, more of the brain exhibits Theta and thoughts become less and may even disappear as we experience unbounded awareness. As more and more of the brain becomes coherent and Theta predominates, the chemistry of the brain resets and neurogenesis takes place.

Brainwaves

How the Conscious Thinking Mind Functions

The conscious thinking mind, as it operates, uses the machinery of the brain and we know from EEG (electroencephalography) topographic brain mapping research that the brain assumes various frequencies as it operates. The brain functions like an electrical machine in certain frequency bands that have been shown to correspond with mental activity of the conscious thinking mind, in the cerebral cortex of the brain. At the root of all our thoughts and emotions is the communication between neurons within our brain. Brainwaves are produced by synchronized electrical pulses from masses of neurons communicating with each other.

Topographic Brain Map

Brainwaves are detected using sensors placed on the scalp. They are divided into bandwidths to describe their functions. Brainwaves change according to what we are doing and feeling. When slower brainwaves are dominant we can feel tired, slow, sluggish, or dreamy. The higher frequencies are dominant when we feel wired, or hyper-alert.

EEG Cap

Brainwave speed is measured in Hertz (Hz or cycles per second) and they are divided into bands delineating slow, moderate, and fast waves.

Delta waves (.5 to 3 Hz)

Delta Waves, the slowest and highest amplitude brainwaves

Delta brainwaves are slow, low frequency and deeply penetrating. They are generated in deepest meditation and dreamless sleep. Delta waves suspend external awareness and may be the source of empathy. Healing and regeneration are stimulated in this state, and that is why deep restorative sleep is so essential to the healing process.

Theta waves (3 to 8 Hz)

Theta brainwaves, occur in sleep and are also dominant in deep meditation.

Theta brainwaves occur most often in sleep but are also dominant in deep meditation. This level functions as our gateway to learning and memory. In Theta, our senses are withdrawn from the external world and focused on signals originating from within. It is that twilight state which we normally only experience fleetingly as we wake up or drift off to sleep. In Theta we are in deep meditation or in a dream. There can be vivid imagery, intuition and information beyond our normal conscious awareness. Research indicates that extended periods of coherent theta (15 minutes or longer) normalizes brain chemistry and causes the hippocampus to create new brain cells. These 15-minute periods of coherent Thera are the catalyst for Neurogenesis.

Alpha waves (8 to 12 Hz)

Alpha brainwaves occur during quietly flowing thoughts, but not quite meditation.

Alpha brainwaves are dominant during quietly flowing thoughts, and in some meditative states. Alpha facilitates being in the present. Alpha is the resting state for the brain. Alpha waves aid overall mental coordination, calmness, alertness, mind/body integration and learning.

Beta waves (12 to 38 Hz)

Beta brainwaves are present in our normal waking state of consciousness.

Beta brainwaves dominate our normal waking state of consciousness when attention is directed towards cognitive tasks and the outside world. Beta is a ‘fast’ activity, present when we are alert, attentive, engaged in problem solving, judgment, decision making, and engaged in focused mental activity. Continual high frequency processing is not a very efficient way to run the brain, as it takes a tremendous amount of energy.

Gamma waves (38 to 42 Hz)

Gamma brainwaves are the fastest of brain waves and relate to simultaneous processing of information from different brain areas

Gamma brainwaves are the fastest of brain waves (high frequency, like a flute), and relate to simultaneous processing of information from different brain areas. It passes information rapidly, and as the most subtle of the brainwave frequencies, the mind has to be quiet to access it. Gamma was dismissed as 'spare brain noise' until researchers discovered it was highly active when in states of universal love, altruism, and the "higher virtues". Gamma is also above the frequency of neuronal firing, so how it is generated remains a mystery to most scientists. We understand Gamma is the frequency of the subtle mind and it manifests in the physical brain functions in conjunction with the subtle mind during witnessing of daily life. A greater presence of Gamma indicates rising or established Cosmic Consciousness.

Changes in Brainwave Frequencies During Meditation

Normal waking state consciousness is characterized by predominately Beta frequencies in the cerebral cortex - this corresponds to the activity of the conscious thinking mind as it is thinking and planning. When we sit to meditate, the practice of Dharana, or thinking the mantra, causes Alpha to first overtake the Beta frequencies, and then eventually an island of Theta will appear as the meditation deepens. In advanced meditators we see this island of Theta arise more quickly than in new meditators. If the meditation becomes very deep this island of Theta will become very large and may encompass the entire cerebral cortex. The person is experiencing the separation of the conscious thinking mind and the subtle mind as Dhyana arises.

Theta is the catalyst for Neurogenesis

If the period of coherent Theta is maintained for 15 minutes, the brain chemistry resets and Neurogenesis begins. Also we believe that the Theta frequency is the gateway to the experiences of higher states of consciousness and will come just before the meditator transitions to experience Nirvana.

Neurogenesis in the Brain

Brainwave Entrainment

Is it possible to influence the brain directly and produce a desired experience? Yes it is, through the technique of brainwave entrainment. Brainwave entrainment, also known as "neural entrainment", refers to the capacity of the brain to naturally synchronize its brainwave frequencies with the rhythm of periodic external stimuli, most commonly auditory, visual, tactile or magnetic pulse. Brainwave entrainment technologies are used to induce various brain states, such as relaxation or sleep, by creating stimuli that occur at regular, periodic intervals to mimic electrical cycles of the brain during the desired states, thereby "training" the brain to consciously alter states. Recurrent acoustic frequencies, magnetic pulses, flickering lights, or tactile vibrations are the most common examples of stimuli applied to generate different sensory responses. [2]

We can produce a physical stimulus in the brain that will cause the brain to switch into the Theta frequency. If we do this during a time when we are also practicing Dharana and Dhyana, we find the practice of these techniques is facilitated by this cooperation of the physical brain, and an actual experience of Nirvana is produced. If we guide the brain through the normal frequencies of natural healthy sleep patterns (Alpha, Theta and Delta), then the experience is more restful and peaceful sleep. But also because the brain is experiencing the Theta frequency for long periods of time during this guided sleep process, the brain will spontaneously create new brain cells.

Typically, we meditate for 20 to 30 minutes, twice a day. This time spent in meditation may give the meditator a good boost in new brain cells but the daily production of new brain cells may vary considerably, depending on the quality of the Theta time in each meditation. However, there is another important time when the brain can experience the Theta frequency and create new brain cells - every night during sleep.

In every sleep cycle there is an opportunity for 10 to 50 minutes of Theta, but like meditation, this time in Theta may not be consistent unless we use the Neurogenesis Vitara to guide the mind through the 5 sleep cycles and ensure that the brain experiences long periods of Theta frequency so there is maximum production of new brain cells each night.

The Neurogenesis Vitara is a device that broadcasts magnetic pulses into the physical environment that causes brainwave entrainment in natural sleep cycle frequencies (Alpha, Theta and Delta) and simultaneously transmits primordial frequencies into the Prana Field using the Vedic Vitara Technology®.  The result is a night of deep, peaceful and restful sleep, a sense of restful alertness and awareness of the body during sleep, a gateway into the experience of Lucid Dreaming, and the spontaneous production of many new brain cells. In the morning we awaken refreshed, clear, happy, positive and energetic as we have taken a step toward higher consciousness.

Neurogenesis Vitara

Neurogenesis All Day and All Night

We see how it is possible to trigger neurogenesis during meditation and sleep. But is it possible to trigger neurogenesis at other times, for example during the day while at work in a desk job? Yes, this is possible. If you have an occupation that where you sit at a desk during the day, you can have a Neurogenesis Vitara on the corner of your desk and use the special daytime neurogenesis modules to entrain the brain to the Theta frequency while you work. Your mind will go into a very creative state, a blissful state of connection to Higher Consciousness and neurogenesis will be triggered while you go about your daily work routine. Soon every company with employees who spend their days in the office will provide each employee with a Neurogenesis Vitara. All such employees who have a Neurogenesis Vitara will become more creative, peaceful and productive, day after day.

Vedic Vitara Technology

Vedic Vitara Technology is included in the Neurogenesis Vitara to provide a subtle but very powerful influence for development of higher states of consciousness. During each meditation and sleep cycle we also have the influence of the 10th Mandala of the Rig Veda. The frequencies generated by the Rig Veda are the primordial frequencies that actually created the perfect Universe and perfect human bodies. In order to create this Universe, Lord Brahma (the Creator) performed a long meditation that took Him thousands of years. At the conclusion of this meditation the entire Universe and all of the first generation of human beings suddenly manifested. This meditation was samyama on the 432,000 mantras of the Rig Veda. Samyama is a special meditation at the heart of the creation process. Maharishi Patanjali gave us a comprehensive text on how to perform samyama and achieve perfections in life - siddhis. Lord Brahma is the foremost expert on the practice of samyama and used this technique to create the entire Universe.

Satyug Brain

The Rig Veda is divided into 10 Mandalas and each Mandala has a specific purpose. The 10th Mandala creates the pure Satyug consciousness of this Universe. When the human brain is exposed to the mantras of the 10th Mandala while in a coherent Theta state, it has an amazing Neurogenesis effect that produces Satyug neurons. A Kaliyug neuron has DNA that is only about 10% active so the neuron is able to function at about 10% of its inherent ability. A Satyug neuron has DNA that is 100% active, resulting in a neuron that is far more capable. The Neurogenesis Vitara includes the Vedic Vitara Technology which transmits the 10th Mandala of the Rig Veda into the Prana Field during the Theta brainwave entrainment sessions and this results in Satyug Neurogenesis - the production of Satyug Neurons.

Now we have a mechanism for not only restoring our neuron level back to 100 billion neurons that we had at birth, but these new neurons will be Satyug Neurons, resulting in a remarkable Satyug capable brain and nervous system. With the Neurogenesis Vitara we maximize the production of Satyug Neurons everyday so that in a few years we will have not only restored our brain to full 100 billion neuron capacity but there will also be billions of new, highly capable Satyug neurons that should significantly increase IQ and overall cognitive functioning. In Satyug the typical IQ is 100,000 due to the Satyug neurons in the brain. In Kaliyug the typical IQ is 100. Imagine the increase in IQ for a brain with 10 billion Satyug neurons - perhaps 300 or higher is possible.

NEUROGENESIS

Neurogenesis Vitara Creates Experiences of Higher Consciousness

The Neurogenesis Vitara Gamma Brainwave Model 120 can help your brain to generate Gamma brainwaves and encourage Neurogenesis (creation of new brain cells) while you go about your normal daily activity. The experience is one of happiness, peace, and contentment as you witness your physical life from a higher perspective. According to a popular theory [1], gamma waves may be implicated in creating the unity of conscious perception (the binding problem [2]).

Gamma brain waves are a frequency pattern of normal brain activity that measures between 38 and 42 cycles per second in humans. Gamma brainwaves are the fastest of brain waves and relate to simultaneous processing of information from different brain areas Gamma brainwaves are the fastest of brain waves (high frequency, like a flute), and relate to simultaneous processing of information from different brain areas. In coherent Gamma state, the brain passes information rapidly, and as the most subtle of the brainwave frequencies, the mind has to be quiet to access it. Gamma was dismissed as muscle artifact or just some "brain noise" until researchers discovered it was highly active when in the individual was experiencing states of universal love, altruism, and the higher virtues. Gamma is also above the frequency of neuronal firing, so how it is generated remains a mystery to most scientists. We understand Gamma is the frequency of the subtle mind and manifests in the physical brain functions in conjunction with the subtle mind during witnessing of daily life. A greater presence of Gamma indicates rising or established Higher Consciousness or Cosmic Consciousness, also known as Moksha Level 1.

Gamma Brainwaves Illustrated By A Colorful Abstract Image

Gamma waves were essentially unknown before the development of digital EEG (electroencephalography) recorders, since analog electroencephalography could not measure brain waves at that high frequency (their upper limit is about 25 Hz). Neuroscientists are beginning to discover the marvelous properties of the brain and the experience we enjoy when the brain produces the Gamma frequency.

Gamma brain waves are the fastest brainwave frequency with the smallest amplitude. They are associated with the feeling of bliss, peace and happiness reported by experienced meditators, and with peak concentration and extremely high levels of cognitive functioning.

Neuroscientists believe that Gamma waves are able to link information from all parts of the brain – the Gamma wave originates in the thalamus and moves from the back of the brain to the front and back again 40 times per second – not only that, but the entire brain is influenced by the Gamma wave. This rapid full sweep action makes the Gamma state one of peak mental and physical performance. Gamma is the brainwave state of being “in the Zone” - that feeling that you can do anything.

Everyone has some Gamma brainwave activity, but the amount of Gamma waves produced varies. Low amounts of Gamma brainwave activity have been linked to learning difficulties, poor memory and impaired mental processing. Low Gamma occurs when the individual is functioning in the lower consciousness of the ego. When the individual transcends the lower consciousness and begins to function from Higher Consciousness (the subtle mind), Gamma increases.

People with very high levels of Gamma activity are exceptionally intelligent, compassionate, happy, and have excellent memories, high creativity, and strong self-control. IQ scores of people with high Gamma wave activity are correspondingly high.

High Gamma activity also corresponds to a state of peak performance. Elite athletes, top-notch musicians and high achievers in all fields produce far more Gamma waves than average.

The benefits of producing the Gamma frequency are:

  • Increased memory recall; people with high Gamma activity have exceptionally vivid and rapid memory recall.
  • Increased sensory perception. Senses are heightened when the brain produces Gamma waves. Food tastes better; vision and hearing sharpen; sense of smell becomes more powerful; and your brain becomes far more sensitive to all sensory input. This makes for a much richer sensory experience and a better perception of reality.
  • Increased focus; but this enhanced focus is not necessarily aimed at one individual object or task. In the Gamma coherent state, your brain is able to process all sensory information faster and more fully with greater sensitivity; and combine the whole scenario into a highly memorable experience. People with high Gamma activity can recall everything about any memorable event – the food they ate, the music they heard, the conversations, the names of people they met, the air temperature, etc.
  • One of the most remarkable properties of the Gamma coherent state is the processing speed: the brain is able to process incredible amounts of information very quickly, remember it, and retrieve that memory later.
  • People with high Gamma activity are naturally happier, calmer and more at peace. People suffering from depression typically have very low gamma activity.
  • Gamma waves are present during REM sleep and visualization.
  • Compassion comes from a feeling of oneness with all life. There is a feeling of blessings and ecstasy that accompanies high levels of coherent Gamma brainwave activity.

    For references see [3][4][5][6][7]

Neuroscientists believe that people can train themselves to produce more of the Gamma frequency. For example many studies have been performed on experienced meditators, most notably Tibetan Buddhist monks and Celestine nuns. Both groups demonstrated the ability to produce Gamma waves during meditation [8]. The studies showed a significant increase in brain activity in the left prefrontal cortex (associated with self-control, happiness and compassion) and greatly reduced activity in the amygdala – the brain’s fight or flight center.

Another way to increase Gamma frequency in the brain is through brainwave entrainment, both during and outside of meditation. It is possible to use brainwave entrainment in the Gamma frequency band to invoke the natural ability of the subtle mind to overtake life so that one can experience all the benefits of a coherent Gamma brainwave state mentioned above; all day and every day.  The Neurogenesis Vitara Gamma Brainwave Model 120 is the device that will increase Gamma frequency in the brain.

Neurogenesis Vitara Model 120

This device sits on the corner of your desk and quietly produces its effect to make you more creative, happier, more at peace, increases your IQ and problem-solving ability, increases your focus and memory retention ability, and gives you the experience of witnessing from Higher Consciousness.

  • Gourmet restaurants should have a Neurogenesis Vitara at every table to provide their patrons with a delightful dining experience - the food will taste better due to heightened senses and their patrons will be happier and more content.
  • Churches and theaters should have Neurogenesis Vitaras throughout the auditorium to enhance the experiences of the people attending.
  • Airlines will want to offer the Neurogenesis Vitara to their First-Class passengers for a more pleasant flight.

The role of Gamma frequency in the brain which includes the combination of Theta and Gamma which could be especially useful in encoding ordered sequences of events or items into long-term memory [9]. This combination of Theta and Gamma is exactly what the Neurogenesis Vitara provides. Also it is important to note than while the adult may create thousands of new brain cells every day, these new brain cells die unless subjected to some form of learning right away. The Neurogenesis Vitara provides the ultimate learning experience for newly born brain cells by exposing them to the frequencies of the 10th Mandala of the Rig Veda. These special frequencies form the primordial basis of consciousness itself. So, the newly created brain cells will quickly learn their role in the development of a Satyug brain.

What is a Satyug brain? This is the perfect brain that the Creator gave us at the start of our universe. That was about 150 trillion years ago, according to the Vedic Literature. The first people of the new universe, our ancestors, had perfect physiologies that lived for 100,000 years! Their IQ was 100,000, compared to 120 for the normal person today. This remarkable lifespan and ultra-high IQ was the result of their DNA being fully functional. Today we are told by scientists that 90% of our DNA is "turned off" - they call it "junk DNA".  If we could turn on the full functionality of our DNA we would live much longer and be more intelligent, like our primordial ancestors.

The universe is created in the Mind of the Creator through a process of meditation called "Samyama on the 432,000 syllables of the Rig Veda."  The Neurogenesis Vitara includes the Vedic Vitara Technology® that mimics this samyama process. The influence of the Vedic Vitara Technology on newly created brain cells causes the DNA of these cells to be fully functional. So, over time, the brain will have increasingly large numbers of these fully functional DNA brain cells. This is why IQ increases with the use of the Neurogenesis Vitara.

If I Already Have a Nirvana Vitara, Do I Need a Neurogenesis Vitara Too?

The Nirvana Vitara is famous for being a catalyst of Neurogenesis, when worn during sleep and meditation. But if you can extend the time of Neurogenesis to the other hours in the day, you will increase your new brain cell count significantly, every day. By age 40, the typical adult has 84 billion brain cells, down from 100 billion at birth. So we need to create 16 billion new brain cells plus keep up with the continual dying off of older brain cells. With the Neurogenesis Vitara Model 120 you will easily double the number of brain cells created every day, over what are created by the Nirvana Vitara.

Also, the Neurogenesis Vitara is so easy to use, just sit it on the desk and remain in the range of the electromagnet to gain maximum benefit. There is nothing to wear or adjust during the day.

Experiences With The Neurogenesis Vitara During The Day

I have used the Neurogenesis Vitara for the first time today and in just a few minutes and I have the feeling of a blissful sensation in the heart, prana body is gently vibrating, very peaceful, happy - very nice! I could enjoy this for a long time. Mind is very clear, Krishna's Flute is clearly present.

I have meditated with the Neurogenesis Vitara. The experience was very deep, blissful, immediate transcending, easy witnessing of the conscious thinking mind from subtle mind, a very wonderful experience! After meditation I left the office and the blissful witnessing quality remained with me as I left the vicinity of the Neurogenesis Vitara and remained with me for several hours.

Before using the Neurogenesis Vitara, I sometimes experienced a restless body during meditation. It was quite annoying and distracting. In meditation with the Neurogenesis Vitara, the body became very quiet and easy.

Today I meditated with both the Nirvana Vitara and the Neurogenesis Vitara for the first time and it was an amazing experience! Immediate, deep transcending, easy separation of subtle mind witnessing the conscious thinking mind as it thought the mantra. Effortless and blissful meditation!

The Neurogenesis Vitara is small and very easy to use - just plug it in and turn it on. There is no adjustment of the MP3 player needed. Be sure to place the electromagnet within 30 inches of you and feel the bliss!

Experiences With The Neurogenesis Vitara During Sleep

I experience a strong sense of the prana body when sleeping with the Neurogenesis Vitara,  The sensations of the prana body are very blissful and delightful to experience as my physical body sleeps.

My mind is alert and awake while my body sleeps deeply and peacefully when I have the Neurogenesis Vitara on in the bedroom. I am aware of each sleep cycle and when I end cycle 4, I can easily begin the Lucid Dreaming technique for cycle 5.

After using the Neurogenesis Vitara during sleep, I noticed that my short term memory improved. Before I would have to write down passwords but now I can easily remember new passwords!

I have been plagued with brain fog for some time now, but after using Neurogenesis Vitara during sleep, I just realized that my brain fog is gone! My mind is very clear now when I wake up in the morning and all day long.

Neurogenesis Vitara during sleep is amazing - I now have many dreams and more vivid dreams. It is like my mind is awake and I know which sleep cycle I am on at any time during the night. Some of my dreams are lucid now, and that is after only a few days.

I go to sleep easily and quickly now witn the Neurogenesis Vitara and wake up feeling rested and fresh. There are many dreams and some are lucid dreams - more lucid dreams now than ever before.

The combination of the Neurogenesis Vitara and the Lucid Dreaam course is very powerful. I have always wanted to have Lucid Dreams but I did not have the mental energy at night, I just ultimately wanted to go to sleep and not do anything. The Neurogenesis Vitara adds the quality of wakefulness that gives my mind the boost it needs for Lucid Dreaming. With the Neurogenesis Vitara I have no problem sleeping, that is my body sleeps, but my mind stays awake to watch when dreams come up. Then I apply the techniques learned in the Lucid Dreaming course and begin Lucid Dreaming. Not every dream yet, but one or two each night I become lucid enough to at least know I am dreaming.

After the night of wearing the Neurogenesis Vitara, I always wake up feeling fresh and alert! When I miss a night my experience returns to feeling groggy in the morning, so I rarely miss a night now.

I have both the Nirvana Vitara and the Neurogenesis Vitara, and I have been wearing my Nirvana Vitara for sleep every night for several months. When I received the Neurogenesis Vitara I used it instead of the Nirvana Vitara and found the effect of the Neurogenesis Vitara is many times greater than the Nirvana Vitara - for one thing I can feel the Neurogenesis Vitara frequencies throughout my physical body and my prana body is much more enlivened. Dreams are more vivid and I am more likely to have a Lucid Dream now. Plus there is nothing to wear on the head. I did not really mind the Nirvana Vitara headband but it required adjustment several times each night and I was always laying on the frequency module and that was sometimes uncomfortable. Overall, the Neurogenesis Vitara produces a superior effect and is more comfortable to use. However it is not that portable and I travel some, so I will always rely on my Nirvana Vitara for travel sleep.

Neurogenesis Vitara

The Neurogenesis Vitara is a Vedic Vitara Technology® device that stimulates the brain to create new Satyug brain cells, and produces a wonderful experience of blissful and deeply restful sleep with an opening for Lucid Dreams. This device creates a physical stimulus in the brain that will cause the brain to switch into the Theta frequency. If this is done during a time when we are also practicing Dharana and Dhyana, we find the practice of these techniques is facilitated by this cooperation of the physical brain, and an actual experience of Nirvana is produced. If we guide the brain through the normal frequencies of natural healthy sleep patterns (Alpha, Theta and Delta), then the experience is more restful and peaceful sleep. But also because the brain is experiencing the Theta frequency for long periods of time during this guided sleep process, the brain will spontaneously create new brain cells (neurogenesis).
